As the owner and photographer of ArtLetterPictures.com I want to welcome you and thank you for supporting us. I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years. In addition to ArtLetterPictures.com, I am also the co-owner of Mark Stein Photography, a high quality portrait studio in central Minnesota, USA.
A while back I made a visit to Colorado to spend some time with my daughter Jessica and her husband Jaron. On my visit they gave my wife and I a gift of beautiful alphabet photographs that spelled out our last name. I was blown away! Having a photography background myself, I was really taken aback at the beauty this photographer had found in the form or urban and natural elements that resembled letters of the alphabet. Then it got me thinking…
As a portrait photographer I have to be honest, I didn’t have the passion to photograph sunsets, fall scenes, etc. I really was drawn to creating beautiful portraits of people. But this was something that intrigued me. It was something that was not only artistic but would be incredibly fun to search and find with my wife and youngest daughter Olivia who is 5. Let’s face it, who is better to find you letters of the alphabet than a young child who has just learned the alphabet herself!
I must admit that in recent years I have found a love and passion for photographing the unique and intriguing Urban and Natural elements that are presented to us in everyday life. These elements, sometimes escaping even the keenest of eyes—on their own, appear only as small details in the world around us. Now put them together and an ah-ha moment emerges as you see these unique elements emerge as letters of the alphabet!

We walked for several days shooting our beautiful alphabet letter pictures and just could not get over the incredible architecture the city had to offer. Not to mention the hospitality of all the restaurants we dined at. Go visit Charleston, you'll love it!
